Join us and get invaluable behind-the-scenes experience and learn how the magic of a professional play comes together! We are looking for crew members over the age of 14 who are interested and willing in the following positions:
Stage Crew
14+
Responsible for setting props and set pieces, working in scene shifts with actors, helping the stage manager maintain communication and order with backstage, jumping in to problem solve and help actors when things go awry. Also responsible for making sure the stage is ready for each day with sweeping, mopping, prop repair, and helping actors stay on schedule. Must be able to participate in physically pushing large set pieces and be on headset with stage manager during the show. 14 years or older. Experience is not required.

Audio 2
14+
Responsible for getting microphones set for actors, changing batteries between shows, putting mics away correctly at the end of each day, and troubleshooting faulty mics during the show. They will also assist the sound designer and sound board operator with setting up and tearing down audio equipment. Experience with microphones (including helping actors get into mics) is preferred, but not required. Must be able to help actors with taping and setting their mics and coiling cables. Also should have the ability to be on headset during the show and go up and down stairs to get audio equipment. 14 years or older.

Spotlight Operators
17+
Responsible for operating the spotlight at the direction of the stage manager and lighting designer. Will be on headset for each show and verbally cued when to track an actor’s movements on the stage with the light and any modifications to make. They may also assist the light board operator with setting up and putting away lighting equipment. Experience is preferred, but not required. Please email stagemanager@vyt.com for information on a stipend. 17 years or older.
